An official limited edition screenprint based off the 1957 movie Throne of Blood, directed by Akira Kurosawa and starring Toshiro Mifune, Minoru Chiaki, Isuzu Yamada.

This is a 7-color silkscreen print, and the 3rd piece from our Akira Kurosawa series. The film transposes the plot of William Shakespeare’s play Macbeth from Medieval Scotland to feudal Japan, with stylistic elements drawn from Noh drama.
